Being a full-time activist is difficult
for students with full-time classloads or full-time jobs.
The e-ctivist program allows users to get involved even if
they don't have time to go to meetings or events. It's
also a great way to let us know if you're interested in getting
involved. The two main features of our e-activist program
that you can sign-up for are:
Weekly
Updates
MontPIRG publishes a weekly e-newsletter informing students
about activist highlights of the upcoming week, opportunities
to create change, and the most recent action alert.
Action
Alerts
Students also have the opportunity to recieve urgent action
alerts as we learn about such things as upcoming legislative
votes, rallies, and other actions that our members can get
involved with. These are items that we have deemed as urgent
but did not recieve enough notice to include it in our weekly
update.
