The MontPIRG Education Fund is a non-partisan, non-profit group that promotes the public interest through expert research and public education.
The Education Fund's Issues:

- Open and Democratic Government
- Clean and Healthful Environment
The Education Fund is the sister organization of the Montana Public Interest Researech Group (MontPIRG), a student directed advocacy organization.
Since 1993, the Education Fund has published detailed reports on critical consumer issues including
- Payday Loan Agencies
- Toy Safety
- Montana Tenant-Landlord Law
Additionally the organization has engaged in citizen outreach activies such as:
- Registering Young Voters
- Educating Consumers about Credit Cards
- Educating Montanans about the Consumer and Environmental Benefits of Wind Energy
