Thanks
to the support of our members, MontPIRG has spent the last 20 years delivering
result-oriented research and advocacy. We have worked tirelessly to
ensure that decision-makers hear the public's voice on issues that affect
all of us.
But it isn't merely financial support which has afforded us our
success
. Our biggest ally has been an active citizenry whose voice refuses
to be drowned out by special interest money, who doesn't tolerate corruption
in government or the marketplace, and who stands up to defend our health,
saftey, and environment.
Recognizing this, we have included features on this site to encourage
this activism among our members. Whether it's reading our reports,
being an e-activist, or simply letting us know what issues are important
to you, the fight for the public interest will be stronger for it.
